The LBTS Music Department is thrilled to announce that out of thousands of applications across the country, Peter Omowole in Year 12 has been awarded a Silver Award in the UK Schools Music Festival Music Competition. 

Peter was entered in the Intermediate Drumming category and had incredible feedback from the Festival adjudicator; Michael Armitage. With Mr Armitage saying, 'Overall a fantastic and enjoyable performance to see, which showed good control, thoughtful use of articulation and expression and a deep understanding of what was required. The improvisation and development was expertly done.'

A huge congratulations to Peter! This is an incredible achievement and his hard work, resilience and dedication have paid off!
